How to Download Your Digital Item

Quick answer: Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive an email with a link to download your file. You can also access your files anytime from your order confirmation email no account required.

There are 2 kinds of digital purchases at Ideal Cad Studio:

• Instant downloads: Ready-made files (such as library designs or templates) that are available as soon as your payment is confirmed. Your download link will be sent to your email within a few minutes.
• Custom / Made-to-order downloads: CAD design files created specifically to your requirements. Our team will design your file after your order is placed and send it to you once it's completed.

When your digital file is ready, you'll receive an email with a direct download link. Simply click the link to download your file  no login or account required.

Note: Please download and save your file to your device once you receive it. We recommend keeping a backup copy, as download links may expire after a period of time.

I Can't Find My Download Email

First, check your Spam or Junk folder. If you use Gmail, also check your Promotions and Updates tabs.

To make sure you don't miss future emails, add the following to your contacts or safe sender list:

• e.g. ideal.cad.studio@gmail.com

If you still can't find it, contact us with your order number and we'll resend your download link right away.

How Long Does Delivery Take?

• Instant download items: Available within a few minutes of your payment being confirmed.
• Custom / Made-to-order items: Delivery time depends on the complexity of your design request. Our team will coordinate with you directly to confirm the estimated completion time for your order.

I Purchased as a Guest — How Do I Access My File?

No problem you don't need an account to shop with us. If you checked out as a guest, your download link was sent directly to the email address you provided at checkout, inside your order confirmation email.

If you no longer have access to that email inbox, please contact us with your order number or the email used at checkout, and we'll help you retrieve your file.

I'm Having Trouble Downloading My File

• If nothing happens when you click the download link, try disabling any ad blockers or browser extensions and attempt the download again.
• If your file appears corrupted, delete it and try downloading again from the original email link.
• Make sure you have the correct software installed to open CAD files (such as  .STL, .3DM, .OBJ). If you're unsure which program to use, feel free to reach out and we'll guide you.

Can I Get a Refund or Cancel My Digital Order?

Because digital files are delivered electronically, digital orders generally cannot be returned or cancelled once the file has been sent.

If there's an issue with your order such as receiving the wrong file or not receiving your file at all  please contact us and we'll make it right.
